Mari's Story...
Mari is a 9 month old Shepherd/lab mix female. She is current on all her vetting, spayed and after a few months with her foster dad, is now ready for a forever home. Mari was at the City Shelter when the foster found her. She was scared, timid and did not do well in that environment. Her foster dad couldnt bare to see her be euthanized so he took her home and helped her to blossom into the wonderful girl she is today. Mari is wonderful with other dogs, she warms up quickly to people and is a stunning girl.
She is looking for a home of her very own, and hope that she will find one soon. If you are interested in adopting Mari, please go to our website at www.lovepuppybreath.org and fill out our online application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mari, a Houston Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
