We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Located in Southern California, we are a dog (and sometimes cat) rescue dedicated to saving animals who are scheduled for euthanasia at shelters. We firmly believe all dogs deserve happy and loving forever homes where they can live in safety, no matter the breed.
My Best Buddy promotes and practices an aggressive spay/neuter effort to help resolve the pet overpopulation problem. We are an all-volunteer organization relying solely on donations to continue its work.
Until the dogs and puppies at our rescue find their forever homes, they live with families who most likely have other dogs, cats and children enabling the foster dogs become well-adjusted, balanced pets who are comfortable in most situations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pheobe, a Thousand Oaks Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Thousand Oaks, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Thousand Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thousand Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thousand Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thousand Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
