I've gone from a kennel dog to the vet for surgery to a foster home - all this year. I hiked in the Hike a Houlagan program, and I did very well with my person one-on-one, but I didn't want any dog to fuss with me.
One day, I became ill. The Houlagans' folks took me to a vet - I had a tumor. It turns out, the tumor was completely encapsulated and benign. I needed someplace to recuperate.... A guardian angel took me home. Now, I live with 6 other dogs. I know how to interact appropriately. I sleep in my crate - no big deal. I love the indoors!
So, I'm ready for my own home. I love my foster, but I think I can do this alone or maybe with another dog or two. I think I'm ready for that elusive thing - a forever home.
Sundance is about 6-7 years old (at 8/31/16).
