Oreo 1F1F's Story...
Are you in need of a private investigator? Well look no further, Oreo will take the case! This young lady was originally a stray who was kept at someone's house for a little while, but was never able to be reunited with her family. Since arriving at PAWS Oreo has moved to a foster home with three other cats and four dogs. Her foster family says she enjoys hanging out on the computer chair in the study or sitting atop the tall cat tree in the living room, watching all the dogs play. Every once in a while her foster parents will hear a loud meow come from the back of the house- It's Oreo letting everyone know she's heading into the family room for some love and attention. Call PAWS today to schedule a time to meet Oreo and hopefully bring her into your heart and home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo 1F1F, a Columbus Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
