My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We just took Zeke in today. He is an 8 month old young man who has been in foster care sense he was a kitten.He does not understand why he was taken from his home and put on display at PetSmart, so he is a bit scared and growly.
We have listed him as a Special Needs Cat.
He has inverted eyelashes, which means the lashes curve under and touch his eyeball. Cats with this condition will usually squint their eyes, like we humans do when something gets into our eyes.
To them it probably feels like a grain of sand always there rubbing.
He has been vet checked and is healthy, he just has this condition which in the future may require eye drops.
So if you are a caregiver who loves special needs cats this boy sure needs you and your understanding.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
