Meow! My name is Marmalade
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Orange Or Red (Mostly)||Age:||Young|
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
The word "Marmalade" is actually a fruit preserve made from the juice and peel of citrus fruits boiled with sugar and water. It is also a reference to any orange, red, or yellow cat. The name seemed to fit perfectly for her since she arrived just in time to bring the sunshine and warmth of spring with her last year! She's waited over a year, but Marmalade still has that sunshine and warmth to share with someone special! She's an affectionate, low-key cat whose idea of a perfect day is one spent napping in sunbeams and cuddling up to share a purr with her best friend. Wouldn't you love to have this furry little goddess of springtime and cuddles to keep you company?

Rescue Group Info...
FACE and IndyFeral are two like minded organizations who have recently merged to help more cats and dogs in Indianapolis. We are committed to ending pet overpopulation by providing affordable and accessible spaying/neutering as well as wellness services. We also promote adoption, rather than buying or breeding. FACE focuses on owned cats and dogs while IndyFeral seeks to reduce the stray and feral cat overpopulation in Indianapolis through the non-lethal method of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), not trap and kill.
All of our cats and dogs available for adoption have been spay/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for feline leukemia/FIV or heartworm. A simple application for adoption is required and is designed to increase the likelihood that any cat or dog we adopt will have a secure home environment for the remainder of his/her life. The adoption fee is only $100 for dogs and between $50-$75 for cats and includes all of the above. A great deal.
