Ivy is the reason we hate puppy mills. Ivy is a mill survivor that was left mentally and emotionally traumatized after years as a non-stop breeding machine. She is so sweet and innocent, yet so deeply hurt by her past. After her "release" she found solace with a doggie friend, a fellow survivor who has recently been adopted, which leaves Ivy's world upside down yet again. We pray there is a loving, nurturing home for her out there with the patience and unconditional love to make her feel secure. Right now she is at a foster where she is absolutely no trouble. Once the foster picks her up, she loves to be held, brushed and fawned over - - she just needs a little more time to truly believe she is worthy of it. Ivy is about 4 years old, she weighs about 11 pounds, she's healthy and enjoys the company of other small dogs.
