My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet big boy, Rufus, is a gem. He will rather stay along and snuggle with his person than run in the yard. He is a leaner and he rolls on his back to get his leash on. Rufus has the coat and markings of a German Shepherd, with soft ears and the head of the Rottie, he is just adorable. Rufus is a submissive boy eager to please, he even tries to walk near the ground. Rufus is crate trained and is doing well with housetraining combined with with crate training. He loves dinner time and he does well with other dogs. Rufus is looking for a family of his own.


It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children since we don't have foster homes with young children to evaluate the dogs. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application.
