Thank you for your interest in adopting. Please know that all of our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and Alabama and unless you live in TN or AL, this dog is not currently located in your area. Our dogs are listed in your area because our adoption fee includes USDA certified transport to the location or nearby. Our orphans come with all required vetting, microchip, and health certificate by a licenced veterinarian. We are a non profit organization and donations are considered charitable contributions on your income taxes. If you are interested in this little one, please request an application at forrescuetn@gmail.com
Meet sweet little MayBelle!
She is a small lab mix and weighs less than 30 lbs.
She is just under a year old and is a very affectionate pup.
MayBelle would love an active family...
She will need an adopter that is willing to train with her on how to walk nicely on a leash
and not to jump up on people when when she wants attention.
She is young and impressionable right now... the perfect time to train a young one.
MayBelle knows when you're talking to her and she's really good about coming when you call.
She loves giving kisses and would lick an intruder to death rather than barking at him.
She's really fast and loves to play fetch. She really likes other dogs. She loves having lots of space
to run around in; she loves chasing birds...
In a nut shell... this young lady is sweet, affectionate, and full of energy.
If you think that you are a good match for MayBelle, please email us for adoption info. forrescuetn@gmail.com
Rescue Group Info...
We are a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families in the New England area. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
Our dogs are mainly fostered in Tennessee and Alabama in one of our many experienced foster homes if one is available; if not, the dogs might be kept in boarding until adopted. We have many wonderful dogs looking for homes! All of our animals receive rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo vaccine, bordatella and spay/neuter (if age appropriate) and are on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. All of our dogs come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $450 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm/flea preventative, as well as their transportation to your area.
Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new owners weekly! Our transport service is certified through the USDA. We have a 14 day no questions asked money back guarantee and the dog can be returned to us if things don't work out. We try hard to get good matches in our homes so that everyone has a happy life together!
We currently volunteer for other rescues and can provide references from these rescues, previous adopters, and our veterinarians if requested. Email us at info@FORrescue.net for more information and to fill out an application.
