Lucasta's Story...
Lucasta is such a sweet and gentle little soul. She loves talking (chirping) and loves following me around the apartment. She likes very soft pets, nothing too hard like our other cats and loves getting brushed. She is still a little shy but does like some human companionship. She loves playing with anything (tiny fur mice, fuzzy coloured puff balls, laser light and absolutely anything with feathers. Lulu is curious about other cats and loves making friends -- she's a little more cat than human oriented. With all three of our boys she loves tackling them or jumping up to snuggle just to give them baths. So with all that said, I think she'd be a perfect buddy to another cat. Lucasta truly thrives when she is snuggling up with her other mates and I'm sure our boys will miss her terribly. About Our Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
Our Adoption Process...
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
175 dollars for 6 months old & up (including spay/neuter)
90 dollars for kittens (not including spay/neuter)
