About Our Rescue Group...
We are a foster based, non-profit, no-kill shelter. This means our dogs are a part of a family. They interact on a daily basis with family members and other pets. This will help your dog to get an idea of home life and security.

All FETCH dogs will be vetted before adoption. This includes age appropriate shots, heartworm testing if old enough, spay/neuter if old enough. They will be placed on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives while with FETCH. They will be groomed, loved, cuddled and socialized as much as possible before adoption.

We are deeply saddened by the high number of homeless pets and the astoundingly high number of animals that are euthanized every day in the United States. Therefore, every adult dog at FETCH will be spayed/neutered and fully vetted before available for adoption. All puppies over the age of 4 months will also be spayed/neutered.

We encourage you to contact us regarding visiting our shelter to see the love and attention these dogs are receiving while awaiting their forever homes.

Our dogs are available for adoption from our home, or at various local pet stores during their "Adoption Days." These adoption events and locations are posted on our calendar page.

PLEASE note that although we welcome your visit, none of our dogs will be adopted on site until we have thoroughly reviewed your adoption application and have had a chance to meet the family that will be providing its forever home.

So, please visit our site, fill out an application to adopt, or an application to volunteer.

Thank you for your interest in FETCH,

The Davids Family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Rochester Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
