Bruno's Story...
Bruno is a laid back 4 year-old fawn and rust Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail. Bruno has a sweet disposition. He loves people and wants to be where the people are. He loves to be petted and your undivided attention. We leave the crate door open and he goes in there to sleep if we are in the room but does not like to be alone. He is good with children and other dogs but will return in kind if challenged. A non-alpha female would be a good companion for him. Because of his separation issues another dog would be good company for him when no one is home. When motivated Bruno knows the commands sit; he comes when called. Bruno doesnt know his own strength and will jump up on people when he is excited and happy to see them. Therefore he needs to be in a home with older children- no one under 12 years-old. How he is with cats is unknown. He does like to chase squirrels and rabbits. Bruno is alert and curious about every movement he sees and sound he hears when he is outdoors. He walks well with a Halti collar. Otherwise he pulls on a leash when he sees squirrels or small animals. Bruno needs a fenced yard because he loves to run and play outside. He does not respect an e-fence and can jump a 4 foot fence. His favorite inside toys are things he can chew. He likes to lull us to sleep by chewing his venison joe knuckle bones in his bed next to our bed for a couple hours after we have gone to sleep- what a sense of humor! Bruno needs someone with lots of time to spend with him because he loves to please and needs a prominent place in your family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
