My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie was rescued from a kill shelter in horrible condition. She had itchy inflamed skin and was suffering severe hair loss. Just from the heat her raw spots were giving off, she was in immeasurable discomfort. Thru this, her tail wagged constantly and she has just stayed so happy. Her issues were quickly identified as food and environmental allergies and treatment started immediately once she was in her foster moms arms.

Slowly but surely her strict diet and bathing regimen took effect and her sweet loving personality blossomed even a bit more. She is a sweet loving and precious little girl, all 4.7 lbs of her, we don’t know her age but we believe she is around 5yr. She could be a Yorkie – Shih-tzu, Chihuahua mix, maybe maltese and poodle or even part Mexican Hairless. One thing is for sure, everyone that meets her falls in love instantly.

Rosie is a lap dog, she loves to be cuddled and carried, and if not carried she follows her person very closely. She loves to be brushed and pampered. She is sad when she can’t see her person, and does not like being in a kennel. If put in a kennel she will sulk about it for hours. Right now and for the foreseeable future she is on a vegetarian diet Natural Balance can buy at Petco,

Rosie is looking for a loving forever home where someone will have time and love for her all day. She is weewee pad trained and does very well with other dogs. At her small size, she will not be able to go to a home with small children. She is spayed, has clean teeth, up to date on shots
