Flint's Story...
Flint and two other siblings are members of yet another unwanted litter here in the south. That's the result of no spay/neuter laws here in rural E. Tennessee. Flintis 8-9 mo. old, is neutered, UTD on shots, is HW neg. and on preventative. All he needs now is a forever home. Flint was dumped on the side of the road. These 3 pups were found in a ditch hiding. They were not well socialized, but have come around quickly. It's amazing what a little attention will do! He is kenneled at night and is romps and plays with other dogs during the day. He has been around older children and is fine. We prefer not to put our dogs in homes with children under 8.

Flint will be transported to the NE via Alpha Dog Transport upon adoption. They charge $125 for their services. They will also hand off all vet records at that time.

Pups this age cannot be left alone for over 3hrs. at a time. This requirement aids in housebreaking and bonding with your dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flint, a Providence Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Providence, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
