Mia-LOCAL's Story...
Meet Mia, she is a 1 year old whippet mix. Her and her sister Gia were dropped at a high kill shelter in GA by their family. They are very sweet little girls, who are great with all kids, cats and dogs, but still a little scarred after they lost their home where they were living together for the first year of their life. They are both up to date on all their shots and vaccines, heart worm negative, spayed, house and crate trained. Gia weighs 30lbs and is in search of her forever home. Ideally we are hoping to have these two amazing girl stay together. Please see Gia's listing too. Apply today and make them part of your forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia-LOCAL, a Lebanon Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet for sale in Lebanon, or seeking a Whippet dog from a breeder in Lebanon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lebanon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lebanon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet breeders who help with Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lebanon paves the way for another one to be saved.
