This pudgy black kitty with bright greenish-yellow eyes hasn’t gotten used to shelter life yet – Emerald is still shy and skittish. She prefers to sit in a cat tree in the window and watch the world go by or hide in a favorite “safe place”. She’s a big fan of treats, however, and has even taken treats out of our hands! We consider this a promising sign that she will warm up to humans and discover the happiness of a loving family. Emerald is a work in progress and just needs a quiet home where she can feel comfortable. We believe that she’ll come out of her shell with a patient human family in a one-cat-only home. Consider making her an investment, and we’re sure it’ll pay off.
