Kelly's Story...
MEET KELLY ********Can't decide if you want a cat or a dog? Well then Kelly is your girl. Kelly is about 48lbs and 7-9 years old. Kelly is independent and quiet. For an older gal she is still pretty playful. Kelly is a very pretty girl and her pictures do not do her justice-- don't let her salt and pepper muzzle fool you-- she is still young at heart! She gets along with all other dogs, large and small. She loves to go for walks and is very gentle on a leash. She is a dainty and gentle girl who has recently learned that she likes to be petted. She now will come sit and gently ask for a pet. It does not seem like Kelly has been given much in her life and she has learned to get by with very little. We rescued her from a kill Los Angeles shelter with her best dog friend Luke. Luke has already found his forever home. Now its Kelly's turn! She would be a great dog for seniors because she is so gentle and mellow. She is potty trained, up-to-date on shots and spayed. Kelly is in foster in the San Diego area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kelly, a Woodland Hills Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Woodland Hills, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Woodland Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodland Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodland Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodland Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
