Piper's Story...
Piper is a beautiful 5 month old pit bull girl pup who was Rescued by All
for Love Animal Rescue from death row at the Camarillo shelter. She had
kennel cough and injured front legs. AFLAR organized the needed surgery for
her legs and she is now a healthy, very happy and sweet pup! To know her is
to love her. She is such a joyful little dog. She is good with other dogs
and cats. She is learning all her manners quickly as she is very smart.
Her legs are still and always will be delicate. She is not allowed to run or
play ball or jump. Walking is OK which she loves to do. This little one will
need some extra care over her lifetime to make sure her legs stay healthy.
But she is well worth the effort as she is the sweetest girl you could
imagine. She is spayed, Microchipped and UTD with shots.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are an all volunteer, 501c3 non profit animal rescue group working to save animals from high kill Southern California shelters such as the Camarillo shelter. We give abandoned animals a safe permanent home through networking, adoption events and transporting animals to reputable 501c3 rescues. We have a strong focus on the most at risk for death row breeds; pit bulls and chihuahas. We advocate for animal welfare, affordable spay and neuter programs and ending backyard breeding. Through community education we hope to restore the positive image of the American Pit Bull Terrier as the loving family dog it truly is. We depend completely on charitable donations to support our work. Donations are needed to cover pull fees to get animals out of the shelter, temporary boarding fees, transport and vet costs. We support the NO KILL platform and dream of the day when all shelters will be NO KILL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Thousand Oaks Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Thousand Oaks, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Thousand Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thousand Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thousand Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thousand Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
