Geneva's Story...
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this dog personally. Be sure to contact the foster or organization directly from the information listed below.

Geneva is a nearly 2-year old spayed, black and white Pit Bull who weighs about 54 lbs. She is an active and treat motivated, so will do well for training. Geneva is a people pleaser for sure. Once she's settled from the excitement of going out, she walks well on a sensation-type harness. She is a strong girl, who should probably be an only dog at least until acclimated. She would probably do fine with older children.

Geneva is quite the snuggler and also very gentle. She really seems to enjoy riding in the car.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geneva, a Vista American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Vista, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
