Lucky's Story...
Lucky is an owner surrender, that we also have his mama, placing here next.

Lucky came to me dehydrated, almost dead, he has had a hard few years, he had a pressure sore on his hind end as well as you could see every bone in this babys body. Veted and Lucky for him, he is HW - and looks like he will make a full recovery. Lucky is at a fosters gaining energy and his will to live more and more everyday. He is not UTD because he is too sick to receive his shots. But we are looking for a great family to take this boy in and show him what life is about, nurse him back to health and give him time to enjoy life. He is very sweet and loving, and deserving of a great family. Sadly I believe the bottom line for Lucky is hes parents split up and they were left with the man, and he put them in a covered barn and fed them once a day, if that, Please look at luckys changes just in the past week

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Whitakers Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Whitakers, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Whitakers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whitakers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whitakers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whitakers paves the way for another one to be saved.
