Elliott's Story...
Is this a cutie or what? The floppy ear just sets him off. He was found on a road, alone and terrified -- but not any more! He's in an excellent foster home, ready for his excellent permanent home. He will be shown by appointment.
This little guy was born about Nov. 2011. He should be mostly and inside pet, and the adopter must have adequate arrangements for his exercise and safety when outside.

Use the link to send our easy one-page application! Or feel free to email or call. The adoption fee for this pet is $85. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elliott, a Tahlequah Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Tahlequah, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Tahlequah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tahlequah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tahlequah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tahlequah paves the way for another one to be saved.
