SHANE's Story...
Shane is a HANDSOME 1 year old, male, neutered, Pit Bull Terrier mix. Shane is no stranger to us, he was previously adopted from our shelter. Shane was with us for such a long time and we were so happy when he was adopted. Sadly Shane had to be returned through no fault of his own, his owners work schedule changed and he would not be home very often. His owner did not want to bring him back, but knew he had no choice. He told us so many great things about Shane, we couldn’t even begin to list them all! But most importantly, they told us that he is HOUSETRAINED, he gets along great with other dogs and that he is wonderful with children. He will just need a new home that does not have cats. Shane has such a friendly personality and at 1 year old, he’s very playful! He is so much fun to be around, you will love having this amazing boy as a part of your family. Please don’t judge Shane by his breed. He does not have a mean bone in his body and he will fill your home with love! Please come see Shane today and help us find him his new forever home soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SHANE, a Clayton American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Clayton, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Clayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
