Suri's Story...
Meet the Aztec Crew – Machu, Nusta, Curaca, Picchu, and Suri. They are a bunch of energetic kittens who like playing spy games, play-fighting with one another, wrestling with toys, and I even chasing after my own tail! They have excellent imaginations and are able to amuse themselves in cute ways. They were found in an empty apartment in a run down complex in a bad neighborhood. They were being fed by neighbor until they were brought to Friends for Life. They are becoming more independent and are looking for forever homes to grow up and have new adventures in!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suri, a Houston Abyssinian kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Houston, or seeking a Abyssinian kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
