Trudy Rudy's Story...
Trudy Rudy follows her foster mom everywhere. She lays in a doggie bed next to the computer chair when mom has to work. She loves to play with other playful dogs and stuffed toys. It would be great to have another playful dog in her new home. Rudy is 3 years old and a bit chubby at 8 pounds. She is on a weight loss plan now limiting her portions and no snacks. We hope her new home will continue to help her keep her weight in control. Trudy Rudy and Cierra have been in the same home for three years since Rudy was a baby. They can be adopted as a pair or individually. They are housebroken and whine when they need to go out. They sleep in kennels or in bed with you. They sleep through the night. Only older children would work in their new home. Young children with quick movements make them nervous enough to nip. Their family had to move out of the country due to employment.

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email for quickest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy Rudy, a Shawnee Mission Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Shawnee Mission, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Shawnee Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shawnee Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shawnee Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shawnee Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
