My story

Meet Frodo! He is a GORGEOUS Newfoundland/Golden Retriever Mix weighing over 100 pounds. The family decided they could no longer care for him and asked their vet to put him to sleep. Luckily, the vet refused and called our volunteers in Alabama for help. He is 4 years old, good with cats, dogs and children of all ages. Frodo has made great strides in becoming more social with people. His foster mom has slowly introduced him to the world and it turns out - he LOVES attention. However, Frodo is much more comfortable with another dog because he relies on them for comfort. He also LOVES cats.
