Black Beauties's Story...
Noahs Ark has TWO male black kittens available for adoption. We named them Pepper and Blackberry. They are comical, friendly, fun, and playful and will talk to you all the time. We think they were born in April of 2012 and have been at the shelter for several months waiting for a home. Sadly, black cats don't get adopted because some people are superstitious. But these little guys can only bring you good luck. Blackberry is always logged into the internet. So send an email to dfdietrich@sbcglobal.net if you want to save a life and have a new best friend with one or both of these kitties. They are both neutered, vaccinated, and FeLk negative. They will need to be socialized more since they have spent their whole life at the shelter, but they deserve a loving family.

About Our Shelter...
Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization. It is a no kill shelter that rescues animals from kill shelters, takes in lost, abandoned, or owner surrender animals. Cash donations along with donations of food, flea medicine, and cleaning supplies are the only means of maintaining this safe haven for rescued animals. The organization is staffed by volunteers and one hired hand that are committed to our furry friends. We welcome scouts and other organizations to spend time at our shelter loving and caring for our animals. Release forms are required for minors, but they are welcome.

Hours for adoption are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00.

Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee for fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, wormed animals is $150. If the animal is not yet spayed/neutered, a lower fee is available so you can have it done yourself. The contract is a short two pages which can be filled out at the shelter. As we show potential pet adopters the animals we get a feel for their sincerity in adopting a pet. If we feel that the potential adopter is not adopting the pet to love and take care of the pet we reserve the right to refuse an adoption.
