Daisy's Story...
Please contact Terry (schultz2444@aol.com) for more information about this pet.

This pup has an amazing story!  She was left by her owner tied to a trailer & abandoned at 6 months old.  A concerned citizen discovered the horrible situation and cut the puppy loose, but she was SO frightened that she took off and no one could catch her after that......not even animal control!  A year later, and 2 litters of puppies, FURR was called in to trap the dog.  Using a coyote trap, the job was done, but amazingly so, this dog was so relieved to be in loving hands and have a warm place to sleep, that she was totally submissive and trusting!  After not being touched or handled for over a YEAR, Daisy is now wonderful, loving dog that anyone would be lucky to be owned by!  This dog is the BEST ever:  loyal, sweet, polite, smart, beautiful, healthy, spayed, all shots, heartworm negative and eager to please!  It will be tough for FURR to part with this lovely rescue......she has easily stolen our hearts!  Adoption fee $200 to approved home only with a fenced in yard in the Charlotte and surrounding area only.

For adoption information or to schedule a visit to the FURR lodge to meet Daisy, please contact Terry Schultz at 864.483.2444.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Waxhaw Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Waxhaw, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Waxhaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waxhaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waxhaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waxhaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
