My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She should have joined the circus! Robin is a fantastic dog, sweet, attentive, watching your cues and sticking by you through thick and thin. However, her most enduring qualities are her tricks. Robin bounds out of her crate and does a flip, landing with perfect form so that her head is in her collar. She is perfect at returning when called from off-leash and she listens amazingly well ... ready to follow her person's directions and eager for training. She bonds quickly and would rather be with her person than do anything else or be anywhere else in the world. She even forgets about her treats and toys for the chance to spend time with her favorite person. Robin is tolerant of other animals but doesn't appreciate their company in the same way she does that of humans. While she has lots of energy for playing and learning, if given a reasonable about of exercise, she is wonderful and content in her crate for several hours a day. She came to the Railroad as a stray and we are guessing her breed to be some mixture of retriever. She is young, less than a year, and we estimate her birthday at June 1, 2011. She weighs about 40 pounds, is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on heart worm prevention and been dewormed. She is crate-trained and ready for her forever home! (DD)
