Ralphie's Story...
Ralphie is a sweet little guy. He happily greets everyone he meets large or small, male or female. He loves to play with all of the foster dogs that he lives with. He is sweet natured and loves to be snuggled. Ralphie is extremely smart and learns new commands quickly. Ralphie is potty trained and sleeps soundly through the night. Though he is crate trained, he would rather sleep soundly in bed snuggled close to his person. Ralphie loves his toys and will often amuse himself by bouncing his ball and catching it. Though Ralphie loves a game of fetch or a good run around the yard he is also quite content to lay at your feet if you are working on the computer or lay comfortably in your lap during a good movie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie, a Schertz Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
