Hello everyone -
Im Bailey the Beautiful Boxer! Please be sure to watch my video to get to know me better!
I am housebroken, I know sit and Im a snuggly girl once I have a few minutes to get to know you! I like to lean on you - and try to sit in your lap. Im a good girl, and Ill sneak you a kiss if youre my friend!
Im good with other dogs, but Im not sure how I feel about toys because Im out-of-sorts since being at the shelter. My rescue friends took me in the play yard and there were balls and frisbees, but I wasnt really interested. Perhaps when I get back into a home and Im loved again, Ill want to play with toys again.
My human dad and I lived a peaceful and good life for years, until his sister moved in with her kids. Her kids started tormenting me and pulling my ears. It hurt - and they wounldnt stop - so I snapped at one of them. Then, I found myself, terrified and alone, in the back room of this shelter. The shelter staff saw how sweet I am, so they reached out to their friends at Lady's Hope Dog Rescue to try to find me a foster or forever home.
Im really scared here, I tremble all the time, Im confused and I dont understand why Im here - where my home is. I dream every night of being back in a house with a family, and of finding a quiet loving place to live out my life.
