LAINEY!** AMAZINGLY SWEET**AMAZINGLY ADORABLE** an AWE-INSPIRING SURVIVOR.
AMAZING… because Lainey was abandoned somewhere on a rural road and left to fend for herself as a young pup. By the time animal control had intervened LAINEY was six months old, close to starving, victimized by the elements, and quietly resigned to a life without love or caring. RESCUE couldn't resist the beautiful soulful "LOVE ME" face peering back through the shelter cage fence. Such a treasure as LAINEY is why rescue exists
LAINEY didn't' didn't utter a peep ( something she probably learned living in a hostile environment) for the first few weeks in rescue. As her young resilient body got healthy and stronger AND HER INDOMITABLE SPIRIT RESURFACED, LAINEY's outlook responded in kind . The expressive eyes now exude trust that someone cares, someone loves and someone will safeguard her for her entire life. THAT IS RESCUES PROMISE TO OUR AWESOME WAIF.
CHATELAINE ( one who has a large house or "chateau" at their disposal) "LAINEY" FOR SHORT; named because all life is precious and no dog should have to fend for themselves but should be cherished in home/chateau made grand by the caring people who inhabit it. ANY loving home of their own is a chateau to an orphan.

LAINEY's breed info is based on the best guess of seasoned rescuers in conjunction with attending veterinarians. WE BELIEVE SHE HAS WIRE HAIR VIZSLA IN HER MIX. She is approx 9 months old and 50 lbs.
