My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Tiana! I am looking for my forever home. Aren’t I the cutest thing? Foster dad says it’s because of my funny underbite. It makes me extra cute! Plus I have really pearly white teeth, thanks to a professional cleaning! I’ve also been spayed and am up to date on all my shots, so I am ready to go right now!! I am pretty small, only 21 pounds, and about 5 or 6 years old. I was rescued from a shelter in Michigan.

I am a pretty shy, quiet little girl. When I first got to my foster home, I was afraid of everything! I didn’t want to go in or out the door on my own, and I wouldn’t let people approach me! I would run from them. I am doing better now, and can go in and out on my own, and let my foster family pet and cuddle with me. I found out how nice it is to be petted and cuddled! I know I won’t be hurt anymore, so I have gained some confidence. I am still a little shy when meeting new people though, so when you meet me, don’t be worried if it takes me a little bit to warm up to you! I also have to admit that I did have a few accidents in the house when I first got here, but I’m much better now. Especially if I get regular potty breaks. Otherwise, I can wait quietly in my crate until you can let me out.

What I really like, is to play, play, play! I LOOVVE playing with my foster sister and we get each other going until we both just go crazy. It is sooo much fun! I also love to go for walks, and foster dad says I’m pretty good about not pulling. There are so many interesting smells out there to be sniffed! I have so much fun I almost forget to be nervous or shy!!!

I would love to find a forever home that is on the quieter side, and one with another dog to show me the ropes and play with would be super! I know there is a family out there looking just for me! Please call soon!
