Nancy's Story...
IN FOSTER CARE, STILL NEEDING HOME: Nancy is a black smoke Domestic Longhair female. She is a love bug, but more reserved than Sid. They are both 4 weeks old (as of 5/14/12). She will be available after she recovers from her spay appointment on June 16th. Although Nancy is wary at first, she loves to be held and cuddled with. Nancy tolerates the dogs playing with her. Sid and Nancy are being fostered by Stephanie Azzopardi Halloran. All kittens will have their first set of vaccinations before they are adopted out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nancy, a Yuba City Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
