Nina's Story...
Please meet Nina, this very sweet 8 year old Rottie is in need of a new home. Sadly her family must move and cannot bring her with them. Nina is a wonderfully sweet and affectionate girl. She was raised with kids and is very well trained. Nina knows many commands and listens beautifully. She is a smart and eager to please lady. Although Nina currently resides with a female dog , during our dog introductions she was dominant with the male dog we introduced her to so we feel she would need to be with an easy going dog . Nina find a home or foster home before May 1st. We are full and have no open foster homes at this time and we are desperate to help Nina. If you are interested in adopting or fostering Nina, please contact Krissie at 845 791 1386 or contact Mountain Rottie Rescue. Thank you. Mountain Rottie Rescue adopts out to the following locations, NY, NJ , VT, CT , parts of PA & Western Mass.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Rexford Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Rexford, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Rexford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rexford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rexford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rexford paves the way for another one to be saved.
