My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buenos Dias Senors and Senoritas:

Juan Pablo here. Doesn't my name just role off your tongue, J u a n P a b l o. BREW picked my name in honor of Cinco De Mayo back on May 5th. If you want though, you can call me J.P. I like that name also.

Foster mom says I should tell you the most important fact about me...I am housetrained. When I first walked in the house, I tried to lift my leg twice. Foster mom yelled NO and from then on - the ground rules were set - she told me I must potty outside. Fine, whatever. I do now all the time!!!

I am a young guy with lots of energy, foster mom and dad brought me to their house all the way from beaglefest where I had played the whole day with lots of other beagles. Can I say beaglefest = FUN! When we got to my foster home, I was so excited because here I get to play with two other beagles, both boys, and we play in our fenced in yard. Almost all day we play unless foster mom has errands to run and then I am crated for a couple of hours at a time. I don't mind the crate. I settle down like the other two beagles and we sleep until foster mom gets home and then back outside to play some more.

I am a tiny, little guy, when I curl up on the couch to take a nap, I don't need much room at all. I sleep in my doggie bed at night on the floor like the other dogs. I love to play with all the toys in the house even if no one wants to play with me. I will squeak them, throw them and run around with them. Since I am so young, I could do with an obedience class, my biggest fault says foster mom is I jump up on you and up on the table and I try to jump up on the counter but I am way too short. Foster mom walks around saying OFF, OFF, OFF. I am starting to think that is my name. "OFF" LOL

When I went to the vets recently, I sat in the front seat and looked out the windows. I didn't try to climb on foster mom and she says I was a good boy. She also says I don't need a crate in the car. I impressed everyone at the vets with my manners. They also said I was super cute.

I am also good going potty on the leash. I had to do that at beaglefest. Because I am smaller in size, I am not much of a puller on leash.

So mi amigos, if you are thinking I am the one (Juan), contact BREW about me, Juan Pablo.
