Jessica is a 6-7 year old black and white border collie mix who came from KCMO Half Way Home Shelter. When she found herself wrongly on death row there, her foster mom saved her. She is a great dog who loves all the attention she can get from anyone. She will dance for you to get your attention and for treats. She gets along great with her other companions, but she is ornery and will need a strong pack leader. She will keep after the other dogs to get them to play with her even when they don't want to, so we feel she would be better with just one other dog or no other dogs in the home. She just is so wanting someone to play with her, she goes a little overboard. She is current on all vaccinations, is spayed, and heartworm neg. She has been on heartworm prevention since foster mom has had her in her house. ( in 2008). I hope there is someone out there that will see the love this girl has in her heart for anyone who will be willing to give it to her because from where she has come to now she is ready to give that back whole heartedly.
