Dharma is a shy, petite girl. She seemed to stop growing as a kitten. She and her brother were rescued from the shelter after being there a little too long. Dharma needs a quiet, patient home that will give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. She becomes very sweet and allows you to hold her once she trusts you.

When Dharma was younger she caught a virus called Calicivirus and became very sick. Cats are vaccinated against this illness, but sometimes kittens in situations like shelters or outdoors catch it before fully protected. She is now healthy and fully vaccinated to keep her strong. It will be very important that she continue to be vaccinated every year. She will, also, need to be adopted as an only cat or with a playmate from her room just as a precaution for unexposed cats. We have had a lot of success with adopting out cats that have gotten sick from this virus and now live normal, happy lives in their new furever homes. Contact us for references or questions.
