Gretchen was picked up by a Richmond Animal Care and Control officer because she was abandoned at a home where the people had moved away. She was a popular staff favorite who was the “office cat” for almost 8 months! But the time came when Gretchen needed to find a real home and a family all her own.

Gretchen is an animated, smart girl who fit in perfectly in an office environment, as she’s tidy, quiet, entertaining and loves to be the center of attention. Her little food and water bowls were always orderly, and she loved sleeping in her cute office basket and being an “executive cat.”
