Meow! My name is Aaron
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Black (All)||Age:||Young|
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
My name is Aaron! I’m a domestic shorthaired male and I was born in September 2011. I have gorgeous black fur and glowing amber eyes, but if you look closely, I also have dark gray striped undertones throughout my fur. I don't know why black cats always get a bad rap; I don't have a mean bone in my body. In England, black cats are actually considered good luck! My owners left me at home when they moved away. Luckily, a neighbor saved me and asked Town Cats to find me a forever home. I’m a little gun-shy when you first meet me but I love attention. I enjoy playing with my sister, Amy, wand toys, balls and toy mice. I’m very docile and just love to hang around the house. I’m a very sweet cat and I’m looking for my forever home. Inquire for more details or to schedule a meet and greet!

Our mission at Town Cats is to maintain a No-Kill Adoption Center/Shelter and foster home network for friendly homeless cats and kittens awaiting adoption; to bring attention to and alleviate the suffering of homeless and feral cats in Santa Clara county; to educate the public about the pet overpopulation problem and provide the public with the tools to become part of the solution to assist homeless and feral cats through Trap, Neuter and Return programs; and to find permanent, loving, and safe homes for all the homeless house cats and kittens in our care. See our video explaining the shelter (over 7 minutes long) below!
You can meet kitties at our shelter by appointment. We have some cats displayed in various stores throughout the bay area - we rotate them in and out, so stop by and see who's in the store this week! Our pet fairs change. For the latest up to date information, please check here at: http://www.towncats.org/datesl!
All adoptions of our cats and kittens are subject to approval by Town Cats. If approved, you can take home your new feline friend the same day provided the cat or kitten is ready to go! Check http://www.towncats.org/adopt for our most current adoption fees. Each cat will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for leukemia/FIV (every adult and one kitten per litter plus mom and/or dad if we have them), dewormed, defleaed, microchipped, plus routine medical check up done prior to delivery. Each adoption also includes 30 days free pet insurance and 20% discount coupon for Pet Food Express stores (check at time of adoption, sometimes we have alternate coupon books available).
Outdoor/Feral Cats adoptions require a site inspection and adoption fees vary depending on how many cats you adopt, a minimum $25 donation per cat is recommended as each cat will have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed (and microchipped, if possible). We deliver feral cats to you and will provide the enclosure/cage required for minimum 30 day imprinting.
Ask us about senior cats for senior people rates too, which are negotiated based on the cat and the person's unique situation!
