Tory's Story...
My name is Tory and I'm a loving puppy who is ready for my new life and family. As of 5/13 I am 12 weeks old and about 20 lbs. My mom is a German Shorthaired Pointer mix, and the rest of me could be Lab with a touch of Spaniel! So I might be full grown around 65-75 lbs (please apply only if you don't mind what size I end up!). I'm super sweet and enjoy giving kisses! I'm eager to learn and want to be your best friend!! I'm just your typical happy-go-lucky pup. Please remember that puppies need time, attention, and continued training. If interested in applying for this puppy go to: APPLICATION

Adoption fee $425. As a legal MA rescue all of our dogs have been through the states mandated 48hr Isolation at an approved isolation facility and had a clean health exam by a MA vet. We then place our dogs in one of our many wonderful foster homes. Please be sure to read all the info below. We look for families who have the time and commitment to raise a puppy to be a great dog. All dogs adopted from One Tail at a Time Rescue are here in New England at foster homes, spayed or neutered, up to date with vaccines, have been wormed, and are ready to go to their new homes now. We prefer adoptive homes in MA and NH -- we do not ship our dogs. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION unless you are ready to take a dog home now. Even if approved for a specific dog, we will not hold dogs while you go on vacation or a business trip or prepare your home. Our dogs are being cared for in private homes by volunteer foster families. Appointments to see our dogs are scheduled once an application has been submitted and approved by our adoption counselors. Thank you! --------------------------------------------------------- ** PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed or full-grown adult size of all our rescue dogs. Because these dogs are rescued from shelters, we do not know exact background and only list breed and size by our best knowledge. If exact breed and size are important to you, please look elsewhere. We want our dogs to be adopted by people who will love and care for them forever - no matter what breed and size they turn out to be! **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tory, a Haverhill Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Haverhill, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer puppy from a breeder in Haverhill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haverhill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haverhill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haverhill paves the way for another one to be saved.
