Copper's Story...
Copper came into the shelter quite scared. He is a good dog, just scared. He likes being outside. He is just adorable. He seems to get along well with the other shelter dogs. Copper would love being you and your child's best friend forever. Copper will be neutered, up to date on shots, and heart worm tested upon completion of adoption. If you could give this guy a chance at happiness, please hurry and contact Melodie at 217-822-3980 or Linda at 217-466-1062 and please leave your name and phone number so we can return your call as soon as we get it. Please open your heart and home to this little fella. He needs some TLC.

Act quickly to adopt Copper. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Paris Beagle/English (Redtick) Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/English (Redtick) Coonhound for sale in Paris, or seeking a Beagle/English (Redtick) Coonhound dog from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/English (Redtick) Coonhound breeders who help with Beagle/English (Redtick) Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
