My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl is about 9-11 years old and the cutest little peanut ever! Emily is a tiny toy rat terrier with a big heart. She is shy at first but is learning to give and receive love in her foster home. When Emily arrived we noticed she had very limited vision, although that didn't stop her from getting around. In fact, she quickly learned her way around the house, found her path in and out of the house and loves exploring the back yard with her foster siblings. After a vet visit we learned Em-Dog(her foster moms nickname for her) would need one eye removed. She's recovering nicely from that surgery and ready to find her fur-ever home. We're not sure how she ended up in a high kill, rural mid-west shelter but we do know she deserves a most wonderful family and lots of love.

Emily is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and has just had a dental cleaning also. If you are interested in meeting Emily, please contact izzysplacedogrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application.
