Casper's Story...
Meet Casper, a gorgeous 1 yr old male neutered Cocker Spaniel! Casper was reported to be pure-bred from his last owner who unfortunately had to surrender this sweet pup through no fault of his own. Casper is currently in a foster home and is looking for his forever home. This sweet, small pup is currently fostered with small children and is excellent with them, and is also good with other dogs. He walks fairly well on leash, until he spots a squirrel or bird, so he needs a little bit of work in that area. He is housebroken, and is very sweet and social. His foster says: "Kasper is an incredibly sweet and handsome dog. When not outside playing or eyeing the birds, he LOVES to be with his person and just wants to give licks and love and hang out. He is great with kids and other dogs, he seems to love everyone and everything (except loud noises maybe) He has a big dog’s personality in a small dogs body, tremendous spirit. Kasper is a truly special dog looking for a great home." If you would like to meet Casper, please contact us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Sagaponack Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
