Stella's Story...
She may be shy and hard to catch, but she is worth it! Stella, an 8 lb Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix with a beautiful full blond coat, was terrorized by children so she has to learn that people can be kind and loving. She will need someone who is willing to work with her to gain her trust, but she is a tail-wagging, glad-to-see-you kind of gal and worth getting to know. Her birth date is estimated to be June of 2008. If you would like to meet this wonderful little girl, please send in your application found at or come to one of our upcoming events which are also found on our web site. Stella is waiting for her forever family so she can enjoy a wonderful life that she so deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a San Diego Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
