Dexter's Info...

Dexter's Story...
Dexter is about 1 1/2 years old. He is a energetic and happy dog. His favorite past time is playing fetch. He loves tennis balls. He is active in the yard with the other dogs and plays well with all his friends. Dexter is very attentive and is a fast learner. He would love an active family that would play fetch, bring him on runs, and has a large yard for him to get his energy out. He's an affectionate boy and loves attention. He would be good for household with a lot going on.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a McKinney Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
