Ripley's Story...
Ripley is mature, gorgeous, and sweet tri-color hound mix who weighs approximately 70 pounds. Ripley is healthy and up to date on shots. She is used to living with and gets along with five cats but has not lived with another dog. When she is boarded with other dogs she does well. She loves taking walks, playing ball, chewing on bones, and napping in sun spots. A house with a yard is recommended for Ripley as she enjoys time in her yard. She is a very loving, housebroken, trained and well behaved dog. Her previous owners recently had a child and Ripley is not adjusting well to this new addition. She loves being the center of attention and to spend time with her family. She needs to be introduced slowly to strangers and we recommend that a home with older kids but not young children If you are interested in Ripley please email greenestreetanimalrescue@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ripley, a Spring City Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Spring City, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Spring City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring City paves the way for another one to be saved.
