My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is a 6 year old female Rottweiler with a docked tail. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, and house trained. She is a very friendly and sweet dog who loves to be by your side and to sleep on the bed. She is unfortunately a victim of the condition that affects many large breeds, hip dysplasia. She takes an anti-inflammatory called Meloxicam which is also a human drug and can be purchased off the $4 list at the pharmacy. She takes half a tablet daily so one fill of the medication lasts 60 days. Piper does well on this medication according to her veterinarian at her last check-up in February 2012. Her activity should be watched and she can only go on short walks. She has no experience with children or cats, but has been in a home with several dogs for her entire life and has done very well. We would like to see Piper get adopted with Kallie, but is not mandatory. If you are interested in meeting these lovely ladies, please contact us today!
