Patches's Story...
Patches is a handsome short haired brown and white Siamese mix with the most beautiful blue eyes.He was born in 2005 and brought to the shelter in 11. He loves to be around people and does well with children. When visitors come into his room and sit down, he immediately claims their lap as his own and stay there until the visitor leaves. He is a very happy cat, and loves to snuggle. Patches has tested negative for diseases, is current on all of his vaccines, microchipped, house trained and neutered. His adoption fee is a bargain at only $75 and all adoptions at Friends of Cats come with a free veterinary visit within 10 days of adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a El Cajon Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
