Mokie aka Fat Cat's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Tammy (, (925) 775-5039 for more information about this

AGE - approximately 7 years old

Size - Mokie is a 12 pounder - yes a mighty big boy!
Special needs - Mokie is FIV positive - please see our website to read more about FIV (under RESOURCES links).  The Feline Immune-deficiency Virus is a slow virus that affects a cat's immune system over a period of years. FI V is a cat-only disease and cannot be spread to humans or other non-felines.  FIV cats most often live long, healthy and relatively normal lives with no symptoms at all.
Mokie is a very loveable boy. He loves to sit on your lap and just wants love. He was most likely abandoned by his owner and just left to fend for himself.  He loves the kittens that he lives with, but is not friendly to the adult female in the house.

Mokie is eligible for our 'foster-to-adopt' program. That means you take this Mokie home for a period of time (usually around one month or so) to see if you are a match! No adoption paperwork or adoption fee for this process.
This program gives you time to see if all your family members including pets like this new cat and we also want to know if our cat is comfortable at your house.
If it turns out to be a match, then we will complete the adoption process. While the cats is in the foster-to-adopt program, the cat still belongs to Cat Support Network and we cover any medical needs. It is a great way to see if everyone involved is ready to commit!

Please contact Tammy Bryant for further details or 925 354-2985.

Our Adoption Process...

Our volunteers work hard to match the best cat to the family. Through discussion and suggestions, if a match is found, then there is usual an adoption fee and simple contract.

All our cats and kittens are spayed and neutered before they are adopted. They also are microchipped, de-wormed, de-flea'd, current on vaccines and come with 30 days of free pet insurance.
