Tootsie's Story...
Meet Tootsiel! This female cutie pie is approximately 7 weeks old and such a doll! Tootsie loves to play and is such a joy to her foster mom! Tootsie was rescued, along with her sister, Tiny Girl, from a shelter when they were only 2 weeks old and scheduled to be euthanized!! We couldn't let that happen and had to save them! Tootsie was bottle fed and is very affectionate! She would love to be adopted with her sister, Tiny Girl, because they love each other a lot and love to play and sleep together!

Tootsie has started her kitten vaccinations and was tested for FIV and FeLV and was negative. She has also been wormed and will come with a low-cost spay/neuter certificate.

Please call Joann at 908-757-7030 or email laydeejoey@aol.com for an application on this adorable little baby!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsie, a South Plainfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in South Plainfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in South Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
